About Damyon Verbo
Brazenly Modest Photographer/Creator of Visual Delicacies Damyon T. Verbo's artistic creativity became evident in elementary school. It wasn't long after first grade his interests in the arts increased and he sought out musical, literary and mixed media artistic experiences. He also showed interests in math, sciences and observations of nature which greatly influenced his artistic creations. It was the technical, science related method of photography combined with the observational and creative compositional aspects that made photography a perfect fit for Damyon's soul. He has created photographic images since his parents allowed him the use of the family Kodak Brownie while he was in still in elementary school. With a child hobby enlarger and darkroom set, Damyon saw his first latent image appear in the developing tray and he was hooked on photography. After high school he moved on to the use of 35mm, 6x4.5mm and 4x5 film cameras processing light sensitive films and papers in darkrooms. Times and technology have changed and today Damyon uses digital cameras and electronic post-processing. Mr. Verbo studied with several photographers over the years including George Krause and Laurie Cameron. Damyon studied portrait photography with Ann and Jim Monteith as well as was a member of the PPA. He has professionally photographed portraits - baby, child, school, individual, group, family and wedding - commercial photography that included advertisitng, architectural as well as artistic.
